This new machine platform offers a number of advantages:

A self-loading manufacturing cell that employs the pick-up principle, leading to very short chip-to-chip times. The workpiece handling equipment requires almost no resetting

For example: GRINDING
As part of the combined machining process the workpieces are finish ground after turning. The external cylindrical and combined diameter/shoulder grinding processes achieve an excellent surface finish, free of tool return marks. The precision machining of crown shafts calls for the use of boring and internal grinding tools.
