斗山重工核反应堆
核反应堆

核反应堆是能维持可控自持链式核裂变反应的装置，也是以核反应堆内部的核裂变发生的热能作为动力的核电站核心设备。斗山重工业向韩国、美国、阿联酋及中国等供应第三代核电站的韩国型标准核电站APR-1400及Westinghouse的AP-1000核反应堆。

A reactor vessel is designed to withstand the high temperatures and pressures, hold the nuclear fuel and provide the space for nuclear chain reactions. The cylindrical structure contains the reactor internals and is welded to semi-spherical bottom head assemblies.

The top, which is accessible for refueling and inspection purposes, is structured so that the removable, semispherical closure head can be fastened with high strength studs.
