多效蒸馏法(MED)海水淡化成套设备
多效蒸馏法(MED)

与多级闪蒸法类似，通过与多级闪蒸法的“级”概念相似的“效”设备产生淡水。多效蒸馏法利用废热时可降低能耗节省成本，主要用于中型规模海水淡化设备。

Its principle is to spray the seawater on the outside of metal tubes to condense the vapor flowing inside. The seawater outside the tube boils to generate the steam which flows into the tubes to condense in the next cycle. The process is then repeated. Since the outside of te tubes is maintained in a vacuum, the seawater boils even when it is sprayed at a low temperature. The big difference from MSF is that it is relatively smaller in size as it is operated at a low temperature (60 ~ 70 ℃) but is more efficient and consumes less electricity per unit production.
