Krauss-Maffei is a worldwide premium partner for the plastics processing industries. Krauss-Maffei machines and systems are used wherever plastics are converted into products. Our know-how covers every aspect – from the product idea to customer-specific system solutions. Krauss-Maffei is the only company in the market with expertise in the three major machine technologies for plastics processing: injection moulding, reaction processing and extrusion. We unite the longest experience, the broadest know-how and the greatest competence. In fiscal 2004/ 2005, Krauss-Maffei generated sales of 551.1 million euro and employed around 2,400 people. The company’s roots go back to the 19th century. In 1838, Joseph Anton von Maffei founded a locomotive factory in Munich. In 1931, two locomotive-building companies, Maffei and its rival Krauss, merged to form Krauss & Comp.-J. A. Maffei AG. Our tradition of building injection moulding machinery goes back to 1926. |
